Airport transfers is not the only thing we offer, as residents of the Algarve ourselves there is nothing we enjoy more than having the opportunity to show off where we live. Excursions and daytrips are where we get the chance to be a transportation tour-guide! If you wish to visit destinations within the Algarve, or further afield, just let us know and we can work with you to create the perfect day out.

If you have an early check-out but a later flight, why not let us pick you up at check-out from your accommodation and take you out for the day, dropping you at the airport in plenty of time to make your flight.

Some of our more popular suggestions are below, but if there is something specific you are interested in please do get in touch with us on transfers@algarve365.com.

Algarve beaches

The Algarve boasts around 200km of coastline and some of the finest beaches in Europe. The Mediterranean climate provides over 300 days of sunshine per year, meaning the beaches are on our list of top family-friendly excursions throughout most of the year.

Whether you are looking for an action-packed day of water-sports, a quiet, secluded cove or one of the many superb restaurants nestled along the coastline overlooking the sea, we can create your perfect day.

Loulé

Loulé is a popular destination if you are wanting to experience a day in a traditional Portuguese market town. A perfect destination to find regional handicrafts, local produce or just sit and watch the world go by as you enjoy a coffee and pastel de nata. The town is steeped in history and many treasures can be found walking through the narrow cobblestoned streets and alleyways. From the castle (Castelo de Loulé) which also houses a museum of local exhibits (Museu Municipal de Loulé), sections of the original town walls through to traditional houses covered in traditional painted tiles (azulejos).

We highly recommend a visit on a Saturday morning, when the town hosts two markets transforming the usually peaceful town into a lively destination for locals and tourists alike. In and around the Moorish-inspired market building (Mercado Municipal de Loulé) you will find a traditional farmers market. Close by is the Gypsy Market where you can find bargains of all shapes and sizes!

Restaurants

The Algarve can boast some of the finest restaurants in Portugal with a wide variety of cuisines to suit everyone’s tastes.

Whether you are looking for a fine dining experience or more simple, traditional Portuguese meal, we can provide you with recommendations and arrange to transport you to your chosen restaurant.
